Pacific Brewing, Century Park, Bend, OR

As part of our 18 acre masterplan (see below) 9 perimeter "Pads" or development sites were approved. This restaurant is the combined Pad #5&6 and built atop a rock out cropping we had identified as a prime  site early in the design process. Umpqua Bank, Century Park, Bend OR

Pad #7 for the Century Park Shopping Center. KJD Architecture pc was responsible for the full exterior site and building envelope. Thanks to OrangeWall Studios for their CD drawing collaboration. The envelope design was generated from the interior by TVA Architects.

Red Rock Center,  Redmond OR

KJD  master planned the out-parcels surrounding the Wal-Mart development that was assembled and sold by DesertScape Development. Features included 9  building designs, multiple outdoor seating areas, community amenities including rockscaped site drainage features and native planting along walkways and building scale faux rock elements recreating the namesake climbing routes of nearby Smith Rocks.

Safeway {build to suit} Century Park, Bend OR

A 58,000 s.f. Safeway opened in April, '03. The building is a build-to-suit for Safeway. Century Park LLC constructed and owns the exterior, which was designed to fit the lodge/craftsman style so prevalent in this fast-growing High Desert community. Blockbuster Video Pad #4 Century Park, Bend OR

Pad#4 was built for a 4000 sf Blockbuster Video {Since subdivided} and an additional tenants. The building opened in December of ’04. KJD Architecture tenant improvements and revisions include a restaurant TI and a UPS store.

Century Park Commercial Center, Bend, OR

An 18-acre Masterplan that was designed to work with the three tiers of topography to allow saving over 100 trees throughout the site. The approval process included working through a two-month State-led mediation charrette process, neighbors' appeals and a City-wide traffic-based moratorium leading to the traffic circle. The Safeway opened April of ’03 and the initial development received a Bend Beautification Award and other recognition's for the exclusively native plant  landscaping.  Pads for Starbucks and Blockbuster opened in '04 and Umpqua Bank opened February '06. Additional tenants include Taco del Mar, The UPS store, Pacific Pizza and others.
